Guy H. Curtis, III

Guy H. Curtis, III is the manager of Worldwide Government Industry Marketing within the Production Systems Group of Xerox Corporation. He was appointed to this position in July 1994.

In his current position Guy is responsible for managing the development of Government markets for the Production Systems Group on a worldwide basis. Prior to this responsibility he served for two years as the Director of Time to Market for the Xerox Corporation and prior to that as Director of Document Management from July 1991, when he joined Xerox.

Prior to joining Xerox, Rear Admiral Curtis completed a successful 32 year career in the US Navy. During the first 24 years, Admiral Curtis served as a nuclear submarine Commanding Officer, as Commander of the Strategic Submarine Squadron (Squadron 14) in Scotland, and as the Deputy Commander for the Atlantic Submarine Force. Upon selection for Admiral he was assigned as the Director of the SEAWOLF Submarine project where he developed technology and completed the design for this new submarine. Upon completion of the award for the lead ship construction contract and in his last position prior to retirement from the Navy, Admiral Curtis served three years as the Asst. Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Logistics.

For his significant contributions to the Navy and Navy Logistics, Admiral Curtis was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal by the Secretary of the Navy and the Founders Medal by the Society of Logistics Engineers.

Admiral Curtis was born in Los Angeles, California, is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and resides in Great Falls, Virginia with his wife Judy.
