An overview of ongoing DoD actions to employ advanced information systems and commercial business practices to reinvent DoD logistics, improve service to the warfighter, and improve mission readiness. Key areas to be highlighted include the DoD's migration to commercial transactions standards (ANSI X.12), migration to commercial product data standards, the use of smart product models, and collaborative work environments (Advanced Logistics Program) to enable dynamic control of our logistics pipeline.
