AFEI is proud to announce the winners of its 2012 Excellence in Enterprise Information Awards.
The top Industry Award was given to CGH Technologies of Washington, D.C. for its Federal Notice to Airman System Modernization program.
The top Government Award was given to the Department of Veterans Affairs Veteran Health Administration for its Project Management Accountability System.
The winning organizations demonstrated, in the opinion of the judges, the best applications of technology and leadership to improve enterprise performance. Innovative approaches, quantifiable metrics, long-term strategic effect, cultural change and measureable accomplishments were all clear attributes of the winning nominations.
Several nominations were also recognized with Honorable Mention Awards for excellent achievement:
- Air Force Automated Education Management System (AFAEMS), performed by BAM Technologies of Arlington, VA
- Mobile Information Collection Application (MICA), performed by the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Vicksburg, MS
- Training Technological Transformation performed by the USAF 505th Training Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL
- Live Training Transformation, performed by the Project Manager Training Devices (PM TRADE), US Army PEO STRI, Orlando, FL.
The purpose of the program is to recognize and reward the contributions and achievements of project teams that exemplify excellence in applying innovation and technology to improve enterprise performance.
