Purpose
The purpose of this conference is to provide the DoD architecture community with
a way to bridge the gap between architecture and programs and a tool to drive
architecture into DoD organizations. The conference will also:
- A framework for developing DoD EA community and industry partnership
- A forum for updates on policy and practices
- An opportunity to receive regular, cohesive feedback on OSD initiatives
- An opportunity for discussion of tools methods and best practices
- A partnership with industry to help make DoD architecture agile and effective
- A platform for developing and conducting focused workshops between annual conferences that help accelerate implementation of architecture to support capability development.
The conference is sponsored by the Director of Architecture and Interoperability,
Office of the Deputy CIO. This year the conference is hosted by the Association
for Enterprise Integration (AFEI). In the past, this conference was called the
Command Information Superiority Architecture (CISA) Worldwide Conference.
All those involved with architecture and systems development in the Defense
community and who have previously participated in CISA conferences should attend
this conference to:
- Interact with OSD on policy and strategy for architecture and systems development (DoDAF, CADM, DARS, ISP, Certification, Federation, et.).
- Hear the latest on DoD Instructions, acquisition milestone requirements, and incremental strategy,
