About this conference:
The need to produce target geolocations in near real-time with
high precision has never been greater and this workshop will update
participants on requirements for precision targeting and the latest
technologies being pursued. The three-day workshop continues cross-communication
and understanding of the state-of-the-art in precision target geolocation
begun in the earlier workshops and adds updated material from services
and DoD agencies. Day 1 is an unclassified tutorial on precision
geolocation using GPS, issues related to imagery accuracy, and a
repeat of the video technology tutorial with new airborne HDTV footage.
Days 2 and 3 will be classified SECRET and will update participants
on service needs for high-precision target geolocation (Day 2) and
introduce new geolocation technology projects and an update on the
GRIDLOCK ACTD (Day 3).
