Biography of
Thomas J. Murphy
Vice President - Program Operations
Information Manufacturing Corporation

For the past 18 years, Mr. Murphy has been working with both technical and managerial disciplines across Industry and the Department of Defense providing innovative technology, implementation and consulting services required by customers to fully realize the critical process improvements that enterprise-oriented information technology can bring to their Product Development and Product Support environments. In July 1998, Mr. Murphy was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Association For Enterprise Integration (AFEI). AFEI is an association for corporate and individual members whose common goal is to advance global enterprise integration and world class electronic business practices for industries and government.
In November 1998, Mr. Murphy joined Information Manufacturing Corporation as Vice President of Operations. Information Manufacturing Corporation is a small business headquartered in Rocket Center, West Virginia that specializes in enterprise-oriented document/data capture, conversion, storage and distribution services for both Federal and Commercial clientele. Information Manufacturing Corporation prides itself in the ability to transform all forms of data into useful information, made to order, to fit the unique enterprise needs of each of its customers.

Since 1989, and prior to his current employment with Information Manufacturing Corporation, Mr. Murphy held several key positions with CACI International Inc., a top-ranked Federal Systems Integrator. Most recently, Mr. Murphy was the Senior Vice President and Manager of CACI's Enterprise Information Integration Division where he had responsibility for the execution of strategic partnerships, business development, customer education, systems integration and consulting services associated with enterprise-wide Product Data Management (PDM) initiatives for both government and commercial clients.

In a previous position, Mr. Murphy was the Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development for CACI's Integrated Engineering Support Systems Division. In this capacity, Mr. Murphy planned, coordinated, prioritized and managed the divisions' strategic and tactical business development initiatives.

Prior to this, Mr. Murphy was the Vice President and Manager of CACI's Readiness-Oriented Logistics Engineering Division where he had responsibility for execution of technology enabled weapon system logistics engineering consulting services primarily supporting the Department of Defense. In this capacity, Mr. Murphy was the corporate accountable operations individual responsible for CACI's participation in notable initiatives such as the Bath Iron Works (BIW) Integrated Data Environment (IDE) Pilot, Warner-Robins Air Logistics Center Automated Systems Demonstration (ASD), Navy Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) Implementation, C-GATE (COTS Configuration Management Product) Development and Marketing, and the OSD CALS Object-Oriented Technology (OOT) IDE prototype.

Prior to his employment with CACI, Mr. Murphy was an Engineering Group Supervisor with General Dynamics, Pomona Division where he had responsibility for development of MK 15 PHALANX Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD)/Design Change Notices (DCN's), evaluation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP's), performance of Supply Support analyses and providing assistance to the U.S. and foreign governments in the area of Logistics Support planning. He represented General Dynamics, Pomona Division as a member of the joint MK15 PHALANX CIWS ILS Management Team (ILSMT), ILS Interface Working Group (IWG) and Technical Management Team (TMT).

Mr. Murphy holds a B.Sc. in Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
