The Kellogg Conference Hotel is conveniently located on the historic campus of Gallaudet University in northeastern Washington DC, approximately 1.5 miles from Capitol Hill and 2 miles from the National Mall.

Parking

Parking is available on-campus at the parking garage on 6th street.  As a guest of the Kellogg Conference Hotel, you can only park in the three-story garage located near the Conference Center. Additional space is located directly across 6th Street in an over-flow lot.  You may be required to display a a temporary parking permit as an event participant.

From the North:

- Take Interstate 95 South to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. (Route 295).
- Follow New York Ave. when the Parkway becomes Rt. 50/ New York Ave.
- Turn left at Bladensburg Road (the first stop light on New York Ave.)
- Go right onto Mt. Olivet Road (the second stop light on Bladensburg Rd.)
- Go left onto West Virginia Avenue (the first stop light on West Virginia Ave.
- Go right onto Florida Avenue (the first stop light on West Virginia Ave.)
- Take the first right into Gallaudet University Campus.

From the South:

- Take Interstate 395 North into Washington via the 14th Street Bridge.
- Get off at the Sixth Street Exit and Proceed north to Florida Avenue, NE.
- Go right onto Florida Avenue
- Turn left – just beyond Sixth St.,NE.

From the Southeast:

- From Route 5 North, turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue.
- Go right onto Eighth Street, NE.
- Proceed North on Eighth Street to Gallaudet University Main Gate

From Dulles Airport:

- Merge onto VA267E.
- VA267E becomes I66 E.
- Merge onto Jefferson Davis Hwy/VA110 S via exit number 75 toward Pentagon/Alexandria.
- Take the I395 N toward US1 N.
- Turn right onto New York Ave. NW/US50.
- Turn right onto Florida Ave. NE.

From the West:

- From Connecticut Avenue South, go past Chevy Chase Circle to Military Road.
- Turn left onto Military Road and continue until you cross Georgia Avenue & Military Road (Military Road becomes Missouri Avenue).
- Continue on Missouri Avenue to North Capitol Street.
- Turn right onto North Capitol Street and stay right.
- Continue on North Capitol Street until you pass Michigan Avenue.
- Get in the left lane and continue one block past Florida Avenue.
- Turn left onto P Street (P Street will Lead you back onto Florida Avenue).
- Turn right onto Florida Avenue. Continue on Florida Avenue past New York Avenue.
- Turn left at Eighth Street, NE onto Gallaudet University Campus.

Government Attendees

• Complimentary Registration for the Summit program is for US Government Employees and active duty US military. Valid employee email is required at time of registration and employee ID is required at time of onsite check-in.
• Optional Two-day Meal Pass $40 is available to assist in coverage of incurred cost.
• Contractors do not qualify for Government Registration and must register as Industry.
• Non-US or Allied Governments may attend under government registration.

Academia Attendees

• Academia Registration is for full-time students or professors at an academic institution. Valid employee email is required at time of registration and academic ID is required at time of onsite check-in.
• Adjunct professors or part-time students are not eligible.
• Full Summit access and two-day Meal pass are included with industry registration.

Industry Registration

• Industry Registration is for any person company employed including contractors.
• Full Summit access and two-day Meal pass are included with industry registration.

REGISTRATION/CANCELLATION/COMMITMENT POLICY

For Government: Please consider your free registration as a commitment to attend. AFEI is committed to foster dialogue between Government and Industry on critical issues and offer free registration due to restrictions placed on travel and event attendance. We ask our ”no fee” registered colleagues to place the same importance on attending the event as if payment was made as it does impact key elements to the events learning objectives and outreach.

After this date you may still register at the event at the on-site rates.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be in writing. No refunds can be given for cancellation. Substitutions are welcome in lieu of a cancellation. There is a $25.00 change fee if a financial change is made. Requests for substitutions must be made in writing to Tammy Kicker ([email protected]).

Attire
Appropriate dress for this conference is business casual for civilians and class B uniform for military. During registration and check-in, each participant will be issued an identification badge. Please be prepared to present a picture ID. Badges must be worn at all conference functions.

Submit a Presentation Abstract
This event builds on previous ADAPT sessions, and is looking at the practical adaptations necessary to make agile methods work in Government organizations.

We invite high-quality, professional presentations that integrate with the Agile in Government theme and that address the focus areas being featured in the event. The topics reflect the successes that agile is having in government as well as the challenges.

SELECTION and NOTIFICATION
Selection of abstracts for presentation will be made by the program committee. Submitters will be notified by e-mail on April 15, 2016. Abstracts not selected for this event may be identified for presentation in future ADAPT events.
