Purpose

The Agile In Government Summit 2016 is focused entirely on adoption of Agile principles by Government programs, agencies and teams.

Get access to the thought leaders who are making agile happen in today's environment.

The Summit brings together industry, government and academic leaders to advance about the state of the practice of agile in Government.  It features talks by leaders, presentations of best practice, lessons learned, new ideas in interactive sessions designed to maximize audience value.

Agile and Digital Government

Agile methods are a fundamental element of Digital Government. The GSA, US Treasury, FCC, NNSA, USCIS, VA, IRS, and many other agencies are adopting agile in driving to better customer outcomes.

Agile in Defense

There is perhaps no greater cultural challenge than bringing agile methods into the 'command and control' environment of DoD. Yet more DoD programs are turning to agile.  Now

DevOps and Government

DevOps (Development and Operations) is being used to great effect by commercial companies who want frequent deployments of capabilities into operating systems.  It's not so easy with Government.  Departmental silos and communication roadblocks can hinder the collaboration across functions necessary to make DevOps work.  DevOps requires change and letting go of the status quo.
