Purpose of ODG

Outcome Driven Government is a community of Government and Industry thought leaders and practitioners whose members collaborate on finding practical approaches to help Government organizations achieve improved business and mission capabilities through agile Enterprise Architecture and other Outcome Driven methodologies. The private and public sectors, when working together, can help drive key changes that enable Government agencies to adopt leaner and smarter approaches, and thereby achieve better outcomes with less resources at every level and across the Government.

The purpose of ODG is to exchange ideas and best practices with those who have been successful at delivering outcomes that achieve mission success in a rapid and cost-effective way across IT, financial, health, performance management, acquisition, program management, operations, and other domains.

Objective

The objective is to grow the ODG community into a sustainable activity that will:

  • establish a community of practice to address how Government and Industry can create better project and program outcomes consistently,
  • hold workshops, webinars, meet-up groups, and other events to bring together Government practitioners with industry, researchers, educators and other innovators to drive the adoption of proven approaches, and
  • showcase case studies and success stories with interactive discussions, white papers, and other supporting documents provided to members.
